OSPAAAL: Organisation for the Solidarity of the People of Africa, Asia & Latin America. Founded Havana, 1967. Takes it's lead from Che Guevara's slogan "There must be 2, 3, ... many more Vietnams", referring to North America's defeat. OSPAAAL supported anti imperialist struggles throughout 3 continents, producing posters to illustrate their message. OSPAAAL posters were distributed with the journal Tricontinental. Posters were folded and shipped to activists (many early examples are only available with original folds). Early examples are now very rare and increasingly sought by museums and private collectors.
